Food donations enable Moisson Rive-Sud to supply its network of member organizations every day to meet the needs of vulnerable populations.

Why donate food to Moisson Rive-Sud?

Your invaluable contribution supports the thousands of vulnerable people in need of food assistance through the network of accredited organizations in the Montérégie region. With minimal operating costs, Moisson Rive-Sud rigorously oversees the accreditation of the organizations in its network. We are committed to redistributing what we receive fairly in order to optimize our service-offering in response to the needs of the vulnerable.

Moisson Rive-Sud’s distribution centre houses both refrigeration and freezing chambers, as well as a large storage area for dry goods. Foodstuffs are handled in accordance with the MAPAQ’s health and safety regulations to ensure food safety.

Foodstuffs are weighed, sorted and redistributed, free of charge, to accredited organizations that help people in need. When the food is picked up, the organizations bring a refrigerated truck or coolers to ensure that the cold preservation chain is maintained during transport.

Food drives can be organized throughout the year. Moisson Rive-Sud can support you with advertising material and/or transportation. For support from our team, please contact juliana.
