Jacques’ professional career can be divided into two parts. First, he worked for over 20 years with an international consulting firm, Towers Perrin (now Willis Towers Watson), either as a consulting actuary (Calgary office) or as a senior executive compensation consultant (Montreal office). He later held various corporate roles in human resources as Head of Total Compensation for international companies such as Rio Tinto, SNC-Lavalin, CDPQ, and most recently Siemens Healthineers (a company based in Germany). Drawing on this professional background, he has led and contributed to the deployment of several human resources initiatives aimed at increasing talent engagement and supporting corporate strategy.
His involvement with Moisson Rive-Sud aligns with his desire to give back to the community, help vulnerable individuals, and join a fully committed and dedicated team and volunteers in the mission to fight food insecurity.
Jacques holds a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from Université Laval, earned his Fellowship designation from the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and the Society of Actuaries in 1993, an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business (University of Western Ontario), and the title of Chartered Director from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
